Generally, these types of templates are only placed on articles that the template actually has a link to. If you look at an article about any person, you don't see a sidebar containing links relevant to their profession. Similarly, if you look at articles about any college, you don't see a sidebar containing links relevant to the subject matter the school teaches. I would support removing this template from all articles that do not have a link on the template itself. --
