  • @Nick: There was a sleeper lingering (JasonSmith1999). There is a rangeblock and a hardblock in play that may help throttle some of the account creation, though they do have access to additional ranges. WP:RBI and salting will have to be used to deal with the accounts that slip thorugh.--Jezebel's Ponyo 16:28, 1 June 2017 (UTC)

Both accounts are already blocked for spam and username violations, and the article has been given a year's supply of salt, so mainly just noting here for the record, especially given that the master has an unretracted legal threat on their talk page. --Finngall 20:53, 12 September 2017 (UTC)

  • "He went to Ravenhurst Primary School, then to Gryphon School (High), and is now going to Leicester College for four years."
  • "She went to Ravenhurst Primary School, then Gryphon High School and now Leicester College for four years."
  • "He went to Ravenhurst Primary School, then Gryphon High School and now Leicester College for four years."

These biogs are then being submitted as drafts Draft:Lydia R Smith and Draft:Tom Popplewell taking reviewer time unproductively. From memory an earlier variant was recently deleted as '(hoax or, at best, vanity)' Draft:Jay T M Smith Icarusgeek (talk) 14:07, 26 September 2017 (UTC)

These socks, excluding the master, are new accounts that removed an AFD template at the article Jason Rich Smith outside process. Notice how all socks, including the master, have their first edits at userspace usually containing "Hello", "Hi there", "I'm the user", etc. ( ) then the next sockpuppet-only edits are removing AFD templates ( ) that the master had created. theinstantmatrix (talk) 13:08, 3 January 2018 (UTC)

Just discovered this after doing an obvious CU. The Master is actually Jesy Blossom Smith (talk · contribs). All are  Confirmed but I have to go out in 5 minutes so no time to block or tag. Doug Weller talk 13:22, 3 January 2018 (UTC)

this is very clearly JRS or whatever iteration he's on now of names (Ariana Smith, I think?) I'm trying not to give it all away and will gladly provide more via email but first few edits were the standard mass welcoming users, similar to that of CrazyDai$y, IslandSunset, and about a dozen or so xwiki accounts doing the same thing elsewhere.) First edits to their own talk page were also adding the talkpageheader template that every sock of his does.

This user is currently temp-blocked (for disruptive editing) at the time this report was published. However, there are something about this user that reminds me of a certain sockmaster. SoothingRelaxation's user page has a "current location" set to "Leicestershire, England", which this is a common mark among the JS2018 socks. It's supposed birth date is 8 November 1999, the same date not only found here on the previous sock's logs, but it's also here on Draft:Tara Smith (developer) (in which the user has also created), masquerading this time as a birth date for "Tara Rose Smith". User has a habit of disruptive editing as well; to at one point they disrupted an AFD by spamming it with a deletion tag. theinstantmatrix (talk) 22:25, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
