Rashleigh granted her a lease. She then set about restoring it and made it her home for twenty something years before returning it to the Rashleighs in 1969. On his death in 1961 the settled estate per Will dated 8/9/1960 passed to his cousin's son Philip Stuart Rashleigh (1924-1988) breaking the entail.
