407:) CS is an idea, and an (extremely loose) affiliation - mainly a communication network. Its philosophy is, in fact, anti-organization. Therefore, its difficult to make generalizations that fully apply to all "chapters"- the major ones have their own unique histories (one of them did/does, in fact, have some organization - a source of controversy). therefore it makes sense to have separate descriptions.
