Janeiro military. The coup was a brief, one day operation in Rio that wasn't planned nearly to the extent of the revolution, a large movement which lasted for a month across the entire country. Yes, the before and after is mostly the same and not so "distinctive," but that is because they happened in the same time period with similar. but not identical, context and consequence. That's all I have to say, and I hope others from WP:Brazil can share their views, too.

Though the coup was initiated because of the outbreak of the revolution, they were, in essence, independent movements.
