competition. If you want to check on how well I understand the topic, I attend a high school which also has a very good reputation in Model United Nations conferences, and has just had as successful of a Harvard Conference as Dalton. I am attending my first MUNUC (Model United Nations University of Chicago) in January 08, and I have already heard stories about Dalton from the Club Moderators, as well as Upperclassmen. For an example of how much Dalton blows their own horn, look no further than this article-they are the only school to actually have a mention in their wikipedia article about their Model United Nations club. As a matter of fact, I think they're the only school I've seen that actually has a wikipedia article.

Expecting this will not be a popular addition to the page, I am creating this section so that people may air their thoughts on the subject. Speaking an alumnus of the Doctor's tenure, I believe my single sentence on the subject is NPOV, properly cited, and entirely relevant to the recent history of a

The Dalton Model UN team is also known to consistently receive the highest ranking positions at conferences in order to start off with an advantage. At certain conferences there are whispers of Dalton receiving preferential treatment in terms of the host showing significant bias towards Dalton during

Yes, lets please strive for a neutral tone, but also lets be correct as every good MUNer should be, winning Model United Nations is a technical impossibility. A school can win numerous awards but a school cannot win Model United Nations. To state such a thing would be putting your school in a little

The aforementioned quotes seem to harbor a pejorative effect. The relevancy is debatable. To say "children/students of color" is to assume Caucasian is not a color (a race in this instance) which is abusive and only perpetuates racial fissures in society. I advocate for this part to be edited or

You don't "win" at UN. The "Best Delegate" and "Best Committee" awards are not always given to the truly best delegates. Dalton has a track record of being overly dominant at conferences, to the point of going past the true friendly spirit of what Model U.N. is supposed to be and turning it into a

568:
Hey, I have a big question about accuracy here. It says that Dalton's Model UN team won 11 out of 13 Best Delagate Awards and 6 honorable mentions. However this is impossible as in a committee no one school can win two awards. I hope someone will please explain
1377:
This page must be renamed to the school's official name ("The Dalton School" or "Dalton"). I am a graduate of the high school and calling it "Dalton School" is incorrect. This is just like "The New School" in NYC. Its Knowledge (XXG) page is not "New School."
1506: 1802:
Since both the old and the new text are unsourced, and since the new content is uncontroversial even if apparently COI, I would favor reinstating the new content. Needless to say, out of process COI edits that introduce dubious content should always be

I think the broader question is whether that information is encyclopedic in any form. Too many of these school articles are brochures and not helpful to the reader. That said, no issue if you or any other uninvolved editor decides to re-instate it.

Listen, whoever is defiling this page, presumably a Horace Mann student, we kindly ask you to stop. One student's indiscression is not worthy of note on Knowledge (XXG). We appreciate your attempt at humor, but the joke is dead. Thank you.
