This is particularly true given the major shift to use press releases as promotion and advertising tools. There is a symbiotic relationship corporations have with organizations such as J.D. Power. For example, there is no significance to the "Platinum award for worldwide plant quality". This "award" does not represent a comprehensive study of every factory, in every nation, and in every industry. There is a basic problem of defining quality in this "award" which J.D. Powers seems to only define as "fewest defects" (which is subject to different interpretations) while also neglecting to inform the reader that only selected automobile assembly plants were evaluated by them. Unless these "claims" are also collaborated by truly independent sources (not simply reposts of the press releases) such as academic-based research, then they should be removed from WP articles. Moreover, the Press Release cited sections in this article are written in a 531: 510: 3452:
