May I suggest that the controversy over the justification for ignoring the Geneva Conventions in apprehending these individuals, and the controversy over the conditions under which they were incarcerated will continue to grow. I am going to suggest that these controversies will be seen as at least as questionable as the incarceration of those of Japanese descent during World War II.
