Many of his "additions to and deviations from" the 1662 prayer book ultimately saw inclusion in both the 1912 and 1929 prayer books. Outside the inclusion of the Scottish Communion Office–entitled "The Scottish Liturgy"–these alterations of the 1662 prayer book were limited and were generally options seeking to reduce the length of services.
