either the size of the gallery, or the entire gallery altogether. While I agree that Knowledge (XXG) is not a gallery of images and that many of these articles are small, there is no policy, to my knowledge, whch dictates the number of images an article may have relative to size, and neither is there a policy that requires articles below a certain size to be without any gallery. Furthermore, the deleted images seem to be fairly random and at least a few with poor rationale (for eample, on the Peterbald page, you deleted an image of a bald cat, but left what looks for all the world like a brushcoat cat, which is considered of inferior quality and is less representative of the breed). Would you mind explaining your rationale as these look to me like random deletions and tagging without explanation, which all may be subject to reversion.--
1755: 289:. The cleanup tags are for requesting assistance in cleaning up the existing article. Blanking the article at the same time as you add the cleanup tags pretty much defeats the purpose of the tags. And in general, blanking out of articles is never the proper way to handle things. It was the blanking that brought the article to my attention on the Short pages list. I just reverted to a proper use of the clen-up tags. As I said, if you think that the article is worthless, and does not deserve to be left ofr later cleanup, feel free to pursue it's deletion. I just did not want it left in a blanked state. - 2263:
characteristic in Soay sheep and one which scientists are beginning to link to survivability in the wild. While one may want to link scurring to horns in a variety of other animals, it doesn't really explain scurring in Soay sheep. I was trying to make than point while not undoing someone else's linking. It is also now widely accepted, based on archeological evidence from Hirta, that the Vikings probably did not bring the Soay to St. Kilda, that they predate them by as much as one thousand years or more. If you can facilitate these corrections I would apprecite it. Thank you very much soayenthisiast
1102:'s user page a moment ago and saw your note. I don't think Sannse drops in here all that often any more (and neither do I). Her photos were up on wikipedia long before Commons even existed, so it's really the Commons photo that has the duplicate name. I'm sure you're welcome to download & reupload Sannse's photo to the commons under another name, as long as you copy all of the text from the original image. (Some of my photos were moved commons "for me", and for some unknown reason, all of the original text with the photo was abandoned.) 757:
the time. I think there are lots of medical articles on the benefits of Tai Chi Chuan, but I want to make certain real articles are in there from real medical references (since there are so many available). If someone comes looking for the claimed medical benefits of this art, then it's good that they can find them. I don't know much about Tai Chi, I'll leave all that writing to you, but I think the medical benefits section really helps the article a lot, and it is well referenced. Anyways, keep up the good work.

times, I'd be inclined to say "knock it off". But, come on, there was nothing at all meanspirited or malicious about what they did, and there was no pattern of adding dozens of personal photos to inappropriate places or anything else annoying. I'm just saying, when it's a newcomer, take a deep breath and give them the benefit of the doubt. There's a world of difference between adding a photo of a catahoula to an article about catahoulas and adding "johnny is a prick" to the middle of some random article.
563:. So that's interesting to see how it "evolved" into this retarded, bloodsport you said it is now!Ā :-) I'd like the finesse part of BJJ, which, to me, is just Judo Newaza (ground-work): the same techniques exists in both arts, and BJJ took them from Judo. It's nice to try to win a shiai without actually hurting the opponent (that's what BJJ should be about if not for MMA). But I'll have to admit that I'd like MMA fights: perhaps that's the insane animal in me trying to set freeĀ :-) 31: 1366: 477:
and I kept a very political position there so that no other contributor antagonizes each other... That's why I did create the gallery, to avoid being "unpolitcal" by removing every single picture addition... Now that I mentioned it a question popped in my mind: why there is the gallery feature if we will not be using it because a image gallery isn't encyclopedic? Why it isn't encyclopedic? Oh, nevermindĀ :-)

encyclopedia, I believe it would be more fair to the reader to provide good, encyclopedic quality pictures of Dalmatians. I don't want to get in a war over the page--but I would like to at least include a good head shot and the frontal veiw photo. I also think that a few of the other images should be removed--they are not good quality pictures and don't represent what the ideal Dalmatian should look like.

support and sympathy, for you dompletely deserve them. Just like this little but beautiful poem says, sometimes the dark aspects of life makes us forget about the small, yet important beauties that make life worth living... and the same could be said about our project. Whenever it gets the best of us, remembering there's wonderful people like you around is the best way to keep going.

considered the animal a "dud" because it was not black and white. Too many people think that all Border Collies must be black and white and I thought the Knowledge (XXG) article was a good opportunity to correct that misconception. Perhaps a solution would be to swap the image of the brown and white dog with the image of the black and white dog competing in a flyball demonstration.

still do not have a good picture of a robust fawn boxer to illustrate the article. It's funny how we can't find a free picture of a fawn Boxer which is the representative boxer (there are many who even don't know that boxers come out in other colors than fawn...) So at least one more picture will be added when someone finds a good one. Regards

The article as it is now seems reasonable, hopefully it won't be changed too much. If you continue to experience this kind of trouble you might try to attack the images directly through 2021:
I fully agree with you comment about Knowledge (XXG) being an encyclopedia and not a gallery. That is precicely why i uploaded the pictures I did. Nearly all of should look like. Sorry, but I have to disagree with you on a couple of points.
